The Sea of Life

The Sea of Life

The sea is a plane of reality,

endless in its random undulations,

and so mimics life itself,

but as does life,

the greater whole reflects a pattern to the seeming haphazard flow.

This pattern, beautiful in its newness,

sweeps us along on adventurous currents,

til like shore-ground pebbles,

we find our way home,

or continue on a fantastic pilgrimage.
